Creating Events

Events can be created by being "pushed" from Breeze, or manually created in EventKite, and then "linked" to Breeze. You can use both methods depending on your requirements.

In this Guide

Linking Events

Linking Events means that you first create the event in EventKite, and then add the EventKite Gallery ID to DSLR Remote Pro or Breeze Booth for Apple. This is most useful if you have custom branding on your galleries and microsites, or you have multiple photo booths that need to feed in to the one gallery.

See the guide on Linking Events for setup instructions

Pushing Events

Pushing Events mean that events in EventKite are automatically created as soon as the first image from Breeze is uploaded. This is most useful for events where you do not need custom branding for galleries and microsites. Galleries and microsites will use the global settings with the Event Name being be based on the Event Name set in DSLR Remote Pro, or Breeze Booth for Apple. Once the event appears in EventKite you can edit the appearance of the gallery and microsite if you need to.
